My cousin Stacey Bush shared this recipe with me, even though she spent weeks/ months perfecting it with our cousin Jeff Goodsell. THANK YOU. It has served us well since circa 2000.
Stacey's Cookies
3 sticks salted butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
4 t. vanilla
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
3 c. flour
small pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. packed brown sugar

Oven 350. At each "line" above, mix the ingredients well. Add flour slowly. Bake 8-10 min.
